Seattle's Best Vegan
There’s no place like Seattle to fulfill your vegan dreams. The bar was raised high after our visit to Portland but the Evergreen State did not back down from the challenge offering us some of the craziest comfort food we’ve ever tried. Plant eaters don’t sacrifice a thing in Seattle. From deep fried french toast to cheese danishes and milkshakes see how our vegan marathon went down.
Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. 701 Coffee is all you need to start the day right. As soon as you enter the chic cafe smells of steamy pastries just out of the oven fills the air. Enjoy a delicious bagel with cashew cream cheese.Sip your hand-crafted latte and watch the commuters fly by. The breakfast burritos have enough flavor to last you all day and don’t even get me started on the desserts. 701 is Seattle’s best coffee shop
Wayward Vegan Cafe
Located in the hip Roosevelt neighborhood of Seattle, this cute cafe has the largest choice on a menu I’ve ever seen. There’s so much to choose from that it’s overwhelming. You’ll want to try it all. The show starts when the plates arrive. It’s fried goodness and cheesy overload. The plates are big but affordable and the quality is impeccable. “There’s no way that’s vegan. I can’t believe it,” says Sabrina as she devours the fried mozzarella sticks and the bacon cheddar fries. The burgers are tasty and they have real soda. It’s super cozy to hangout and they have free wifi. I could’ve stayed longer. The only thing that made me leave was the parking meter.
It all started with a guy and his bike. What a unique experience to try these New York style 100% Vegan and 100% delicious hot dogs. The combination of flavors is creative and enticing. The cream cheese and jalapeno creates an explosion of flavors that’s so savoring you won’t want it to end. The ‘it’s breakfast somewhere’ dog is topped with hash browns, soy chorizo, and onions and tastes amazing any time of the day. Thank you Cycle Dogs for helping vegans rediscover the classic American hot dog stand.
The Cookie Counter
On the road to the best vegan food in the country we couldn’t resist a stop at the iconic Cookie Counter. It’s highly recommended from locals and for an obvious reason. It will satisfy your sweet tooth with creamy and delicious flavor. The Cookie Counter is the perfect place to take your girl on a date. As soon as you try the cookies & cream shake you won’t want to put the straw down. Pick your favorite ice cream and try it in a cookie sandwich or as a sundae.
