Florida Road Trip
Escape winter next year with a road trip to Florida. From some of the world’s best beaches to alligators and wetlands, there’s lots of interesting places to explore. Find out where to go on your next trip to the Sunshine State.
The BEST beach in Florida! Everything is stylish from the boardwalk to the beach umbrellas. There’s cool bars and restaurants along the coast. It’s as entertaining as it is beautiful. The white sand and laid back vibes make it hard for any beach in Florida to compare.
Everglades National Park
Want to see alligators and canoe through mangroves? Check out the tropical wetlands at Everglades NP. Bring your mosquito net and camp under a sky full of stars. Try the ranger lead programs that include bike rides, wet walks, and canoe rides for free.
There’s nothing like the Florida Keys. Islands connected by a 120-mile highway that lead straight to Key West. Snorkel with barracudas at Fort Zachary Taylor SP, frolic on Duval Street, then hop on a sunset cruise. See the Southernmost Point in the USA, 90 miles from Cuba. Watch the best sunrise at Smather’s Beach, which doesn’t close and is perfect for a night swim with bae and a bottle of rosé. ;)
Miami is a lively city with beauty, nightlife, and beaches. The retro hotels in South Beach paint a pastel skyline on Ocean Drive. The boardwalk is full of upbeat energy from joggers to muscle heads and girls in thong bikinis. Wynwood Walls are all the rage and home to some of the best street art in the world. Crandon Park is my favorite beach in the city and more of a local spot.
Devil’s Den Spring
Snorkel in the bright blue water of Devil’s Den, the most picturesque place in Florida. They only allow waterproof cameras in the cave and you have to snorkel.
Ichetucknee Springs State Park
Kayak through the tropical mangroves of Ichetucknee Springs. Spot sea turtles, otters, and manatees if you’re lucky.
Daytona Beach (& New Smyrna)
Driving on the beach is our favorite thing to do on a road trip. We love making breakfast and having coffee while the seagulls gawk. We spend the day playing in the ocean then nap in our bus as the waves crash. Daytona Beach is classic and one of the best places in Florida. New Smyrna Beach has more of a small beach town vibe. It’s beautiful and we spotted dolphins there!
